L'Oréal Professionnel Majirel is a salon-only (professional-use) permanent crème hair colour, part of L'Oréal Professionnel's colour system launched in 1978 — the first L'Oréal formula built on the brand's patented Ionène G conditioning technology. It comes in a broad shade range (100+ shades spanning natural, ash, gold, copper, red, mahogany and mocha families, plus High-Lift and Cool Cover sub-ranges) that supports both natural-looking results and fashion-shade formulations in a colourist's hands. As a permanent oxidative colour it contains ammonia (ammonium hydroxide) to open the hair cuticle for colour deposit/lift, and is designed to give up to 100% coverage of grey/white hair with long-lasting colour. How to Use

This is a professional-use permanent colour meant to be mixed and applied by a trained hairstylist/colourist, not a standalone home product: 1) Select the Majirel shade and mix with L'Oréal Professionnel cream developer/oxydant at a 1:1.5 ratio (e.g. 60g colour to 90ml developer); developer volume (e.g. 12.5 vol for refreshing lengths/ends, 20 vol for grey coverage and same-level colouring) is chosen per the desired lift/grey coverage. 2) Mix to a smooth, streak-free crème using non-metallic tools. 3) Apply evenly to clean, sectioned hair (dry or per the colourist's technique), avoiding the scalp initially if doing a regrowth application. 4) Process for around 35 minutes, as directed by the colourist. 5) Emulsify, rinse thoroughly, then shampoo and condition.
