Product Description

Sebamed Baby Massage Oil is a lightweight, botanical massage oil built primarily around Soya Oil (Glycine Soja Oil, cited at around 95% on India-market packaging) to gently nourish and moisturise a baby's delicate skin. Its non-greasy, fast-absorbing, pH 5.5 formula is free from mineral oil/paraffin, parabens, synthetic colourants, nanoparticles and alcohol, making daily massage comfortable for newborns and sensitive skin. Like most Sebamed products it does contain a light fragrance (Parfum), so it is not marketed as fragrance-free.

Key Ingredients

Soya Oil (Glycine Soja Oil, ~95% per India packaging) — Rich in essential fatty acids (Vitamin F) that help nourish and hydrate delicate baby skin
Wheat Germ Oil (Triticum Vulgare Germ Oil) — Naturally rich in Vitamin E to help nourish and support the skin barrier
Coco-Caprylate/Caprate — Lightweight emollient ester that gives the oil its smooth, non-sticky spreadability
Oleyl Erucate — Plant-derived emollient that leaves a soft, silky after-feel without greasiness
Parfum (Fragrance) — Gives the oil its mild scent; present in small amount — worth flagging for fragrance-sensitive babies since the product is not fragrance-free

How to Use

Dispense about 2-3 ml (2-3 pumps) of the oil onto clean palms using the bottle's pump applicator, rub hands together to warm it slightly, then massage gently over baby's body in circular motions (it can also be used to massage the scalp). Suitable for daily use, ideally after a bath or before bedtime; avoid the eye area.
