L’Oréal Professionnel Scalp Advanced 5-in-1 Serum is a leave-in treatment for oily scalps. Formulated with 1% pure silica and niacinamide, it helps absorb excess sebum and soothe the scalp. The serum is designed to target five concerns: oiliness, discomfort, sweat, impurities and odour, with notes of bergamot, lavender and iris.

In consumer tests on 62 and 63 participants after one week of use at least 2–3 times a week, 90% agreed the serum removes excess sebum, 96% said their scalp seemed more comfortable, 76% agreed it reduces sweat, 85% agreed it removes impurities, and 96% agreed it prevents malodours.

How to use

Cleanse with a shampoo suited to your scalp concern, then use a mask suited to your hair type. Section the hair, spray the serum directly onto each scalp section and massage in with your fingers. On damp scalp, the brand advises 10–15 sprays. Leave in; do not rinse.
